Only two bass instruments were included with the library. The main negative with Dreamstation is it does not have a whole lot of bass sounds. If you are a fan of JJ, you will recognize some of the sounds from his beats. Dreamstation includes presets that are inspiring from the start. Personally, I find myself having to tweak stock sounds for hours just to get them to sound right. The biggest positive about Dreamstation is the usability of the sounds. If you enjoy using videogame-like leads in your beats, you will like the sounds in Dreamstation. I like the fact that some of the leads had JJ's signature vibrato and portamento. You shouldn't have to do a whole lot of tweaking with these sounds like you do with other libraries. I feel all of the sounds have great effects on them and they are ready to be used in beats.
The instruments JJ included don't sound like stock sounds at all. The library includes real and synthesized sounds. Dreamstation includes FX, Stabs, Keys, Drums, Leads, Strings, Brass, etc. It seems like all of the sounds in it are pretty usable. I am definitely impressed with this library. It contains 75 instruments tailored to fit the "urban producer". Dreamstation is a Kontakt library created by JJ himself. I recently bought Johnny Juliano's Dreamstation for $50 from his website.
