A new Readjust button was added to some transformation tools to readjust transform handles based on the current zoom level. Forward and backward transform directions can be linked, which allows moving the handles without affecting the transformation, letting you manually readjust their position. The Scale tool now scales from the center, even when using numeric input. The Unified Transform tool now preserves the aspect ration when scaling up or down. The Perspective Transform tool has received two new options: Constrain handles (constrain handles to move along edges and diagonal) and Around center (transform around the center point). Transformation tools have seen quite a few improvements in the GIMP 2.10.10 release too: Also, plugins can only use 8-bit versions of high-precision brushes and patterns, until a new API is released (not yet available). Raster brushes are still 8-bit, but converting them to 32-bit float is a planned feature.
